Some of what you'll find here...

*** PLEASE NOTE *** This site is newly created as of March 1st 2006, and still needs a lot of work. I've posted it to get constructive feedback on navigation and layout, I really, truely do know that there isn't much content yet, I'm working on it, and plan to put out general requests for information to fill in the blanks once I get through posting all the stacks of info that I have in my personal collection.

About this site

This section contains information about why I made this site, some background history of Sierra, links and scans of articles about Sierra, interviews with the people who worked on and created these games, some photos and comments on my personal collection of Sierra games, a list of the people involved in making the games, and bios when possible, and finally a timeline of major events in the history of sierra.

The Games

Sierra was very prolific during the Mid 80s to Early 90s in their creation of Adventure and Puzzle games. This section will attempt to list all games created or published by Sierra from 1979 to 1999 grouped by title, by year, by series/type, by interpreter (AGI, SCI), and by collection, if the game was released as part of one or more collections.

Additionally I have tracked down many of the advertisements, demos and promotional movies Sierra created for their games, but I still haven't found everything, so I have a running list of games I need, and a list of games that were announced but I believe were never released.

Platforms

Through the 80s the personal computer wars were still going strong, Apple, Atari, Commodore, IBM and many, many others all fought for a piece of the market, not wanting to miss out, Sierra released their games on numerous platforms. I've tracked down information on these computers and consoles, and have listed the games "officially" released by Sierra for each. Additionally there have been several fan based efforts to port these games to addtional more modern systems, typically through emulation.

Help

These games are old, and no longer supported by Sierra, so, as much as I can, and hopefully with the input of others I'm posting instructions on how to archive your old games before those old disks die, deal with known problems when trying to play the games, and tips for installing the games on todays systems.

For walkthroughs and other game specific help, try the games area of my site.

Links

What's a fan site without links to other fan sites?

I've tried to group the links by the name of the site, by the series the site focuses on, where you can find the games for download, and finally sites that specialize in providing fixes and patches for the game (i.e. NewRisingSun's sorely needed timer fixes)
